LIR2032 Button Battery

The LIR2032 coin cell battery is a button battery with a capacity of 40mAh and a voltage of 3.6V. The maximum discharge current of the LIR2032 button battery should not exceed 40mA, and the charging current requires a constant current of 8mA.


The difference between the LIR2032 button battery and the CR2032 button battery:

1, the capacity is different, the capacity of the LIR2032 button battery is 40mAh, and the capacity of the CR2032 button battery is 220mAh;

2, the voltage is different, the LIR2032 button battery is 3.6V, the voltage of the CR2032 button battery is 3V;

3, different load capacity, LIR2032 button battery can withstand 40mA continuous discharge, most of them can be used to charge flashlights, chargers, etc., while CR2032 button battery can only withstand up to 5mA continuous discharge, mostly with clock backup power.


How to charge the LIR2032 button battery:

Look for a resistor of about 1000 ohms and a 12V battery. Connect the negative pole of the LIR2032 button battery to the negative pole of the battery. Connect the positive pole of the LIR2032 button battery to the positive pole of the battery through the 1000 ohm resistor, and charge it for about 6 hours. It is best to have a positive and negative pole of LIR2032 and a 4.1V10mA voltage regulator.
